It’s nothing like a brand spanking new crochet magazine. Sometimes a magazine picture is more satisfying to the eyes than what you see online.
What are some of your favorite crochet magazines?
Interweave Crochet – When I first really got into crocheting I looked at this magazine and thought I would never be able to make anything from it. The top on the cover is what got my attention. I’ve yet to make it and it’s on my “to do list”. The crochet items are more refined and modern looking to me. This magazine will test your crocheting ability and challenge you. The yarns advertised are always pleasing to the eye. This is my inspiration magazine.
Crochet! Magazine – I always enjoy this magazine and it’s one of my favorites. I like everything about it. I like that they have diagrams also, even though I can’t read one. But it’s nice to see how the stitches are laid out.
Simply Crochet hails from across the water. Every issue has something that just pops. I’ve always felt that the crochet magazines and yarn are much better overseas. I must be a very visual person but their cover is always so bright, cheery and inviting.
My favorite issue featured the Cowl Neck Poncho that caused a slight frenzy in the crochet world.
Someone liked the first one I made and wanted one with the same colors.
