Week 1- The Dishcloth

If you have no clue on what I’m doing click here for this challenge in February.

This first week challenge seemed like a no brainer.  This simple thought forced me think about the bigger picture and the ending results.  Another thought popped right on in, did I want to do a simple stitch or something challenging?  I chose something in between since my main goal is to be familiar with one stitch and build on that one stitch to create my own patterns. The shell stitch can be incorporated in hats, scarfs, shawls, ponchos, tank tops, the list goes on.   Once you find your rhythm this stitch is a breeze.  I’ll be making a simple dishcloth using shells and double crochet.  What I like most about dishcloths, the are simple, easy and make quick gifts.
